Hi and welcome to Steakaway!
Whenever I sit down at a restaurant and browse the menu, my eyes always linger over the steaks for a short while. It's usually the most expensive meal, and like many others, I’ll choose something within my means.
Steakaway brings the experience of a luxury steak to the streets, and at street food prices. By utilising sous vide technology to precook your steak, we simply sear to order and serve your gourmet food faster than you could get a burger and fries!
Whether you're craving a classic steak and chips or a gourmet steak sandwich, we've got you covered. Find us at local events and markets or book us yourself! With a range of homemade sauces to choose from, you're guaranteed to find your flavour without breaking the bank.
Our Story
Steakaway is run by me (Emerald) and my husband James. Since meeting each other our passion for food has grown. What started as James teaching me to cook while I was at university soon turned into us cooking together in our own home. I built up my confidence with cooking and James refined his skills, experimenting with herbs and spices and trying new recipes.
James has had the idea for Steakaway for years and it's so exciting for us to turn it into a reality. We can't wait for you to come on this journey with us and try our delicious steaks!
